Between mid-June and October 31 The Veggie Stand offers a bounty of fresh-picked summer produce: sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, beans, okra and other delicious summer produce. Our carefully selected varieties are grown on-site, where customers can see the vegetables being picked fresh from the fields. Of special interest to many of our vegetable loving customers, farm fresh produce has a nutritional advantage over other produce which is commonly shipped and stored. At Gallmeyer Farms, all of our carefully selected produce varieties pass stringent taste and quality testing, so we can offer quality fresh vegetables—with no transit time. As we like to say around here “If it were any fresher, it would still be growing.”
